I joined the Indian Air Force as an airman and completed basic training. However, I couldn’t pass my trade training and was discharged. I wasn’t aware of the policy that led to my discharge during recruitment. This policy was even introduced after we joined. We were asked to sign a document about changing trades at the time of recruitment. So, is there any chance I can rejoin the service and change my trade?

Indian law doesn’t guarantee a right to rejoin the armed forces after discharge. Since you weren’t aware of the policy during recruitment and it was introduced later, you may have grounds to appeal the discharge decision. However, rejoining and changing your trade would ultimately depend on the specific circumstances and the Air Force’s current policies and discretion.
