As a retired Indian Army EME Corps personnel, I, Subhash Babu P, served for 30 years and retired on 30 November 2014. Upon retirement, my Children Education Allowance (CEA) of Rs. 28,576 was due. I submitted the necessary documents for adjustment and credit to my account through PAO (OR) EME. Despite numerous follow-ups, the amount hasn’t been credited yet. How can I seek legal help to recover this rightfully earned money, which was meant for my children’s education?

You have a legal right to the Children Education Allowance (CEA). Contact the PAO (OR) EME office again and send a formal written request for the payment. If they fail to respond or resolve the issue, you can seek legal help from a lawyer specializing in military personnel matters.
