I recently changed my name from ABC to XYZ. My passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, and bank documents all reflect my new name (XYZ). However, my birth certificate and academic certificates (10th, 12th, and degree) still show my old name (ABC). I’m planning to study in Canada for my graduation. Will this name discrepancy on my documents cause any problems? How can I prove in Canada that both names belong to me?

Indian law considers you a minor until 18. While your father cannot legally force you to stay, he is your legal guardian. You cannot live independently without his consent or a court order. Consider seeking help from a trusted adult, like a teacher or counselor, to discuss your options and find a safe solution.
