I’m a Jat from Haryana, originally from Uttar Pradesh. I completed my MBBS in Lucknow, having been an OBC candidate in college. Now, I’ve applied for NEET PG 2023 and listed myself as OBC in both the central and state lists, but marked my domicile as Haryana. Is this valid? Are Jats still considered OBC, and if so, in which states? Also, my OBC certificate is from 2010 – should I get it renewed?

You can file a case in a consumer court against the university as the university is providing a service and you are a consumer of that service. The fact that you are a student does not preclude you from being a consumer.
