I retired from the Indian Navy as a Petty Officer on 31st May 2003. I was promoted to Petty Officer on 1st February 2003, but I only served for a few months in this rank before retiring. Since I didn’t complete six months in this rank, I’m currently receiving pension based on the Leading Petty Officer rank. Is there any chance I can get my pension regularized to reflect my final rank of Petty Officer? I’d appreciate any advice on how to proceed with this.

You can file a legal complaint against the builder for breach of contract and seek a refund of the advance. The bank’s mortgage doesn’t affect your right to a refund, as it’s a separate issue. You can also approach the Consumer Forum for redressal.
