After serving in the Army for 16.5 years, a former soldier in the Dogra Regiment, who was commissioned in 1977, was denied his pension. He was released from service in 1986 due to allegations of multiple marriages. Despite being medically discharged in a low category, he was not granted a Disability Pension and was only given a 95% gratuity. He appealed to the Defence Ministry but received no response. Under Indian law, you have the right to claim a refund for the booking amount as the project was abandoned. You can file a consumer complaint or a civil suit against the builder seeking a refund. You are not obligated to find new buyers for your flat as a condition for getting your money back.
