I worked at a company for three years. From February 1st, 2016, my salary was ₹50,000 per month. I resigned on September 26th, 2016, and worked for two more months, leaving on November 25th, 2016. I haven’t received my salary for September, October, and November. After 45 days, on January 13th, 2017, the company said they’d pay me ₹40,000 per month starting from February 1st, 2016, because I didn’t complete a full year. What are my options to get the money I rightfully earned?

Under Indian law, you are entitled to your full salary for the months you worked. The company’s offer of ₹40,000 is not legally valid as you were earning ₹50,000. You can pursue legal action through a labor court to recover the unpaid salary for September, October, and November.
