My parents got married in Mumbai in 1978, but their names were mistakenly recorded incorrectly on their marriage certificate. My mother’s middle name is listed as “Francisca” instead of “Francis” and my father’s as “Gracia” instead of “Garcia”. Their birth certificates and the church marriage certificate show their names correctly. I need to know if I can get these middle names legally updated.
